About Charleston Eats

This started as a list in my Notes app I'd send to friends visiting Charleston.

"Where should we eat?" they'd ask. I'd send them my running list—20 years of restaurants, organized by neighborhood, with notes on what to order and which places were worth the hype.

Eventually, it was time to upgrade from Notes to an actual website.

Founded by a College of Charleston alum with 20+ years exploring Charleston's restaurant scene, Charleston Eats is that list turned into a searchable guide to every restaurant in Charleston. All 1,500+ of them. You're welcome.
